(Baby Naming, Blessing Ceremony) Celebrate and welcome your precious new arrival, read your vows to them and assign them life mentors.
What is a naming ceremony?
A naming ceremony is the celebration and welcoming of a child into your family and social circle. It can be classed as a non-religious alternative to a Christening.
Not only for babies, it can involve a child of any age, giving parents the chance to assign 'life mentors' for their child/children, who they want to act as influencers and guides.
The ceremony celebrates the life of the child so far, the impact they have made to your life, and the people they will have around them providing support and love. You can write vows to your child, and include readings, poems, and involvement from others; as well as additional elements and symbolic rituals such as gift giving, a time capsule, blessings jar, hand fasting ceremony, sand or unity candle, and more.
The package includes a complimentary no obligation introductory call, interviews, draft ceremony scripts, follow up calls, a rehearsal if required via Skype or in person, and then of course the ceremony itself.
I will coordinate with any suppliers, planners, and family and friends who are involved in the ceremony, to make sure that everyone knows their part, and to save you the hassle of playing third party!
After the ceremony, you will receive a presentation copy of the ceremony script, a personalised certificate which is signed by yourself and the life mentors, and any props that were used, all packaged up for you as a wonderful keepsake.
Optional extras - Symbolic rituals & ceremony props
If you would like to involve and keep any props, or include ceremony elements such as a memory box or family tree, these can be added for an extra fee.
